Nijhof-Wassink implements preventive measures to ensure continuity of the logistics process

In view of the current developments regarding the containment of coronavirus, the board and management of Nijhof-Wassink have decided to implement certain preventive measures to ensure the continuity of the logistics process in your and our business operations.

Our drivers, planning team and other employees already work according to a hygiene protocol and from today physical contact during our work will be limited to a minimum.

  •  The planning team at our Chemical and Feed Logistics divisions will work in smaller groups and in various offices at our different locations.
  •  To minimise the number of contacts at our Nijhof-Wassink locations, support services such as IT, Finance, HRM and the board will work from home and access by third parties to our own sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Hungary and Poland will be limited.
  • Consulting your contact person at sales or operations can be done via digital channels or by telephone and we are always available to help you.

We will review the measures weekly for their effectiveness and implement any new measures if necessary.

We hope that you will understand why we have implemented these measures. The most important aspect for us is to take our social responsibility seriously by contributing to the containment of coronavirus. We do not wish to threaten the continued operation of our entire supply chain.

If you have any questions, please contact your contact person at Nijhof-Wassink.

Kind regards,

Nijhof-Wassink
Bertil Bouwhuis - managing director Chemical Logistics
Martin Schoemaker - managing director Feed Logistics
