ON THE ROAD SINCE 1967
The history of Nijhof-Wassink starts in Wierden (Overijssel). In the sixties of the last century, Harman Nijhof and Evert Wassink there, owned a transport company, each separately. On 1 January 1967 they decided to join forces. Below is the timeline of the Nijhof-Wassink Group with key moments in the history of our transport company Nijhof-Wassink and our Volvo and Renault Truck dealership Nijwa.

Expansion of the activities soon follows with the sub-dealership of Volvo Commercial Vehicles in Twente.

The garage activities continue under the company name Nijwa B.V.

Through the acquisition of the dealership in Northeastern Overijssel Nijwa Zwolle is born.

Ecotrans is a specialist in bulk and general cargo transport of animal feeds, premixes, fertiliser and other agricultural products. In 2023, Ecotrans was sold.
