New Managing Director Chemical Logistics Division
It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to Bertil Bouwhuis, our new Managing Director Chemical Logistics. Bertil has worked as Finance & Control Manager at Nijhof-Wassink since 2016, he has a background in finance and business administration and has intimate knowledge of the culture and organisation of the Nijhof-Wassink Group. Before starting his career at Nijhof-Wassink he was an independent consultant for 16 years advising companies on an operational, tactical and strategic level.
As Managing Director Chemical Logistics, Bertil is tasked with operational and commercial responsibility for the Chemical Logistics Division. This division focuses on transport and logistics services specifically for the chemical industry and consists of four sectors: Dry Bulk Logistics, Liquid Bulk Logistics, Fuel distribution and Warehousing.
Bertil succeeded Wijnand Hendrikse with effect from 1 December 2019. Wijnand recently indicated his desire to take on a new challenge outside our organisation.
We wish both Bertil and Wijnand every success in their new challenges.
