Feed Logistics Nijhof-Wassink enjoys major growth in Germany

Nijhof-Wassink's Feed Logistics division has been active for many years in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Hungary, where our local Nijhof-Wassink drivers transport the feed to the farmers in these countries. Nijhof-Wassink has also been active in the German animal feed market for three years.
“In Germany, almost all animal feed products are delivered to the farmers by the manufacturers. Increasingly more manufacturers enjoy the benefit of a collaboration with Nijhof-Wassink. Thanks to our new and superbly-maintained fleet and German drivers who have excellent knowledge of the local market, we offer our clients a supply guarantee and cost savings. It is no longer necessary for our clients to invest in (new) equipment. In addition, they no longer have to depend on their own drivers. They are still able to deliver when there is a lack of drivers caused by illness, for example. In addition, we also notice that we are a welcome addition at peak moments of orders for our clients. We remove our clients’ risk of not being able to deliver and the investments in areas that are not their core business. And this occurs 24/7. This is one of the reasons why we keep expanding in Germany.
Our animal feed trucks can be found in the regions of Hamburg, Bremen and Oldenburg, and East Germany right up to the Polish border. In addition, we also drive in the states along the Dutch border. We wish to keep expanding our network to be able to work even more efficiently for our clients by combining logistics product flows with each other”, states the account manager for Germany’s Feed Logistics, Hans-Georg Bintakies.
