Rijssen, Netherlands – Nijhof-Wassink provides fuel supply for all Argos Filling Stations in the Netherlands. As part of VARO Energy Retail (VARO), Argos, together with Nijhof-Wassink, is taking an important step in reducing emissions from this transport by using VARO Renewable Diesel (HVO100)*. An important step towards Net Zero emissions in 2040. The entire Nijhof-Wassink fleet deployed at VARO runs on HVO. It underlines Nijhof-Wassink and VARO's strong commitment to sustainability and commitment to reducing the ecological impact of our logistics activities.

*VARO Renewable Diesel (HVO100) is a 100% renewable diesel made from vegetable oils and waste fats and is known for its significant (environmental) benefits. HVO100 can be used in all diesel engine vehicles according to the EN15940 specification and can provide a reduction in CO2 emissions of between 80 to 90% compared to traditional diesel.
