Nijhof-Wassink and Nijwa Poland Celebrate 35 Years

Harman Nijhof founded Nijhof-Wassink Poland on September 27, 1990, in the town of Kutno. In addition to transport operations, Harman, together with colleagues from the Netherlands and new team members from Poland, began selling and servicing Volvo trucks in Poland. This followed the model already established in the Netherlands, where Nijhof-Wassink became a bulk logistics specialist for the feed and chemical industries, and Nijwa became an official Volvo Trucks dealer for sales and service.

Today, Nijhof-Wassink Poland employs 210 professionals across national and international operations, while the six Polish Nijwa locations collectively employ 285 colleagues.
