Feed Support Manager

What will you be doing?

In this full-time position as Feed Support manager, you are responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of contracting and project management and the optimal continuous functioning of the Feed Support team, which consists of 11 colleagues in the Netherlands and Poland. 
You are in a dynamic market that requires flexibility and adaptability in your thinking and actions.
You conduct (contract) negotiations with clients and, after approval, process them correctly in our automated systems. 
You also participate in various projects from (business) development to optimisation of IT and data systems. 
With the support of your team, you are involved with invoicing, supporting the sales organisation, making KPI reports and optimising the organisation through problem and data analysis every day.
The Feed Support department is part of the Feed Logistics division. This department consists of 11 colleagues and every day our drivers send 350 trucks with trailers onto the road from various European countries. These include bulk transports such as animal feeds, fertilisers, proteins, milk powders, whey powder, vitamins and other raw materials. The packed goods department in Vaassen (NL) specialises in the transport and warehousing of packaged animal feed, premix and fertiliser products  

What are we asking for?

  • You have completed college or university education in logistics and/or technical business management
  • You have proven leadership experience, preferably in a logistics or logistics services environment
  • Experience in and affinity with automation and BI and IT systems
  • You have excellent analytical skills 
  • You have a structured approach to work and have a naturally pragmatic attitude 
  • You are strong in process thinking and can quickly switch between various levels and topics
  • You are effective in your communication (Dutch, English and preferably also German)
  • And finally, you are enthusiastic and motivated and know how to get the best out of your team
